TWITTER is known for its lavish offices around the globe and the new Australian HQ is no different.
Located on the 39th floor of the Citibank building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the office shares similarities to the San Francisco HQ, while also adding a distinctly Aussie vibe.

As part of the Aussie vibe, all the meeting rooms are named after beaches.
Which probably makes sense given they have views of the city and ocean.
Twitter has decided to showcase the support shown to cricketer Phillip Hughes following his death with the emergence of the #putouryourbats hashtag.
Work doesn’t have be done at a desk. Take a seat in the lounges and look at the artwork donated from San Francisco Twitter HQ.

Employees at Twitter HQ consider themselves to be a family. As such, they update this wall with new polaroids every so often to keep the memories alive.
Sometimes you just need to escape from it all and have a bite to eat.
Having a bite to eat is much easier with free food and coffee. To keep with the Australian theme staff can help themselves to Mint Slice or TimTams.
Coffee wouldn’t be complete without branded mugs.
Or maybe you want to a hit of ping pong after you finish lunch. There is also an arcade game machine, a PS4 and an Xbox One.
On Friday, you could head to the resident pop-up bar for a drink. The bar was started at the desk of two staff members and has since grown.
In every Twitter office there is the mantra of the company written on the wall. This one was hand painted by a Sydney artist.
Most importantly, love where you work. The hashtag started in 2013 when a beloved and greatly missed colleague used it after she received a blanket knitted by her friends in the UK office before passing away from cancer.
